In this energetic, abstract oil on canvas, turquoise and green hues are complemented by bursts of pale yellows. The artist has chosen to work with a limited colour palette of cool tints and tones, and this has the effect of unifying the whole painting.

The brush work appears to have been applied in rapid strokes that express a sense of spontaneity and movement. Subtle vertical lines among the flurry of paint marks divide the painting into thirds and give the composition structure and balance. Even though this is an abstract painting, the contrasts created by the lighter and darker areas could remind us of a brightly lit space of illuminated forms and shadows.
